MY STORY
My graphic design career began at the age of twelve with a Saturday morning 'job' and summer holidays spent at an multi-national advertising/design studio, where I started just making teas and assisting in photo shoots. The passion was there, that's all I loved, and when I left school they hired me right away, already with 4-5 years of professional experience.

My career continued with a move to the United States to work with a national FMCG merchandiser's design studio, then to the advertising dept of a household-name department store retailer working on national retail campaigns and daily broadsheet ads. Then during my ten years in the US, I went on to work with other international ad agencies before getting headhunted to head up creative for an independent design firm to produce high-value interactive projects for a number of Fortune 500 clients.

It was while at the interactive design firm that the spark of inspiration struck and I went on to develop the first commercially available e-commerce software package having identified the huge gap in the market. I partnered with a small group back in the UK to bring the concept to market and enjoyed high critical acclaim. The product was so successful but this was obviously something that not just [one man] could 'own', thus our 'once in a lifetime' innovation took on a life of its own and has now reached every corner of the globe.
Since my return to the UK, I have enjoyed working independently in design, film, editing, and audio broadcasting. My experience in design, branding, software development, and project management significantly influences my approach to film, editing, post-production, audio engineering & radio production; as well as design, copywriting, events, and much more.
